By downloading or using the app, these terms will automatically apply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app.

We are offering you this app to use for your own personal use, but you should be aware that you cannot send the content on to anyone else, and you're not allowed to copy, or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way.

You're not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the app, and you also shouldn't try to translate the app into other languages, or make derivative versions. The app itself, and all the trade marks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights related to it belong to Swamy Publishers (P) Ltd.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy or re-sell the App or any part of the App save as may be permitted by these Terms of Use.

At the bottom you will be able to find the Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use of the app, and the general Terms and Conditions, which will be relevant if you use the app to place orders for books in the future.

Swamy Publishers (P) Ltd. is committed to ensuring that the app is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the app or to charge for its services, at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for the app or its services without making it very clear to you exactly what you're paying for.

You should be aware that there are certain things that Swamy Publishers (P) Ltd. will not take responsibility for. Certain functions of the app, such as the ability to download and store to your mobile will require the app to have an active internet connection. The connection can be Wi-Fi, or provided by your mobile network provider, but Swamy Publishers (P) Ltd. cannot take responsibility for the app not working at full functionality if you don't have access to Wi-Fi, and you don't have any of your data allowance left.

If you're using the app outside of an area with Wi-Fi, you should remember that your terms of agreement with your mobile network provider will still apply. As a result, you may be charged by your mobile provider for the cost of data for the duration of the connection while accessing the app, or other third party charges. In using the app, you're accepting responsibility for any such charges, including roaming data charges if you use the app outside of your home territory (i.e. region or country) without turning off data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you're using the app, please be aware that we assume that you have received permission from the bill payer for using the app.

Along the same lines, Swamy Publishers (P) Ltd. cannot always take responsibility for the way you use the app. It is important to bear in mind that although we endeavour to ensure that the app is updated and correct at all times, we do rely on third parties to provide information to us so that we can make it available to you. Swamy Publishers (P) Ltd. accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, you experience as a result of relying wholly on the functionality of the app.

At some point we may wish to update the app. The app is currently available on Android & iOS platforms – the requirements for systems (and for any additional systems we decide to extend the availability of the app to) may change, and you'll need to download the updates if you want to keep using the app. Swamy Publishers (P) Ltd. does not promise that it will always update the app so that it is relevant to you and/or works with the Android or iOS version that you have installed on your device. However, you promise to always accept updates to the application when offered to you.

You assume sole responsibility for results obtained from the use of the App, and for conclusions drawn from such use. We shall have no liability for any damage caused by errors or omissions in any information, instructions or scripts provided to us by you in connection with the App, or any actions taken by us at your direction.

You agree to comply at all times with any instructions for use of the App which we make from time to time.

We may also wish to stop providing the app, and may terminate use of it at any time without giving notice of termination to you. Unless we tell you otherwise, upon any termination: (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must stop using the app, and (if needed) delete it from your device.

We make no warranty that your access to the App will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free. Due to the nature of the Internet, this cannot be guaranteed. In addition, we may occasionally need to carry out repairs, maintenance or introduce new facilities and functions.

The license granted to you for the App is limited to a non-transferable license to use the App on devices that you own or control and as permitted by these Terms of Use.

This privacy policy sets out how Swamy Publishers (P) Ltd. uses and protects any information that you give Swamy Publishers (P) Ltd. when you use this App.

Swamy Publishers (P) Ltd. is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Swamy Publishers (P) Ltd. may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 1st September, 2012.

E-Commerce Policy

Shipping & Delivery Policy

For International buyers, orders are shipped and delivered through registered parcel airmail only.
For domestic buyers, orders are shipped through Registered Post / Value Payable Post only.
Orders are shipped within 5 working days and delivery of the shipment is subject to post office norms.
Delivery of all orders will be to the registered address of the buyer as per the credit/debit card only at all times (unless specified at the time of Order).
We are not liable for any delay in delivery by the postal authorities and only guarantee to hand over the consignment to the postal authorities within 5 working days from the date of the order and payment.
We are in no way responsible for any damage to the order while in transit to the buyer.

How the Delivery Charge is Calculated

The shipping charge is based on the weight of the product. For multiple products ordered from the same category, the program adds up the weight of all the units ordered and charges a single delivery fee.

Thus, a customer who orders three books weighing 200gms, 250gms and 400gms is charged a single delivery fee of a consignment weighing more than 500gms but less than one kg. The customer is not charged for three different consignments weighing less than 500gms each.

The weight of the product has been built into the delivery charge of each product. This will automatically be added to the product cost at the payment stage. The delivery charge is arrived at by multiplying the weight of the product with the slab rate.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Swamy Publishers (P) Ltd. believes in helping its customers as far as possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:

Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within 24 hours of placing an order. However, the cancellation request will not be entertained if we have initiated the process of shipping them.
There is no cancellation of orders placed under the Same Day Delivery category.
No cancellations are entertained for those products that Swamy Publishers (P) Ltd. marketing team has obtained on special occasions like Pongal, Diwali, Valentine's Day etc. These are limited occasion offers and therefore cancellations are not possible.
Swamy Publishers (P) Ltd. does not accept refund requests. However, replacement can be made if the customer has complaints regarding binding mistakes or missing pages, only if received within one month of purchase.
In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 24 hours of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision.

Offers and Discounts

Swamy Publishers may be offering discounts on some of its products from time to time. These offers will be available only for a short span of time. Customers are encouraged to avail these offers as early as possible. Swamy Publishers reserves the right to change/withdraw any discounts and offers offered to customers in the form of coupons, etc. at any point of time without prior notice.

Swamys News Subscription

Subscriptions can be made from any month for one year and supply for earlier months will be subject to availability of back issues.
We do not send SwamysnewS by VPP. Subscriptions can be enrolled only on receipt of full payment in advance.
Subscriptions should be sent either by Bank Draft on any Bank at Chennai, in favour of Swamy Publishers (P) Ltd. or by Money Order. Postal Orders NOT accepted.
Subscriptions once enrolled will not be cancelled in the middle of the period.
Remittances for renewal should reach us a month before the expiry, indicating Subscription Number.
Requests for change of mailing address should reach us a month in advance. Such requests should indicate Subscription Number.
The period of subscription enrolled is based on the current subscription rates and holds good only as long as these rates are in force.
The rates are subject to revision at any time by announcement in SwamysnewS or an intimation from our office.
SwamysnewS will normally be posted by the 7th of every month. The posting may be delayed by a week if any latest important Government orders are to be included.
Posting is done through our computerized mailing system. We make sure that the journal is mailed to all subscribers and we hold the receipt from the Post Office as proof.
Journals are mailed by ordinary post at the subscriber's risk. Subscribers are advised to get their copies by Registered Post on payment of an additional amount of Rs. 204 per year. (If subscription is made for more than one copy, Rs. 204 is enough for subscription up to 30 copies per month).
Our responsibility ceases once we hand over the magazine to the Post Office. We are not responsible for any delay/loss/damage in transit.
Complaints of non-receipt of journal should be reported not later than second week of the following month. Supply of replacement copy will be subject to availability. Since only a few extra copies are printed, it may not be possible to supply back issues after a long gap.
The magazines reaching Government office by designation are not usually preserved carefully or they get pinched. Please give safe addresses.
Please quote your Subscription Number in all correspondence.
